Vacation Bible School at St. Paul’s!

Monday, July 17th – Friday, July 21st ~ 9am – 11:45am

At “Mighty Fortress” VBS, kids learn that God is their refuge and strength. They may not ace the test or make the team, but God promises to be their rock and their salvation – their fortress and sure defense. In Jesus, the victory is won! Come along as we sing fun songs, do crazy crafts, eat yummy snacks, play awesome games, and more! Contact Marissa Manor @ mmanor17@gmail.com for more information.

Registration for participants and volunteers is available now at www.vbsmate.com/SPLCNewHartford.

What do we really believe as Lutherans?

Come and discover, or re-discover, the richness of the basics of our faith – what we believe, teach, and confess in the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. Sunday mornings at 9:30 am!

LWML this June…Five St. Paul's members will be traveling to Albuquerque, New Mexico to the national LWML convention. At that convention Marissa Manor, the New England District Young Woman Representative will join hundreds of other women to vote for the 2017-19 mite grant recipients.  Mite moneys are being collected now in support of those mite recipients as well as for the New England District mite grant recipients for 2016-18. The LWML affirms each woman’s identity as a child of God and her relationship with Jesus Christ, encouraging and equipping Christian women to live out their lives in active mission ministries, and to support missions around the world through their sacrificial gifts of mites, tithes, offerings, and tireless service. Through their invitation to “come and see” what God has done for all people, countless neighbors from all walks of life have been reached and touched by the love of God in Christ Jesus.

LWML Mites will be collected on Sundays in May.  Please bring the change and dollar bills from your Mite boxes to support the 2016-19 LWML district and national Mite projects and put them in the large LWML mite box on the table in the narthex.  Any questions can be directed to Deaconess Manor at deaconess.manor@gmail.com

Rev. Dr. Timothy Quill…former pastor here at St. Paul’s, who currently serves at Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, IN as Professor of Pastoral Ministry and Missions, and Director of International Studies, will be here at St. Paul’s on Sunday, June 18th alone with his wife Annette. What an exciting day, as Dr. Quill will bring us God’s Word in the sermon, as well as sharing about his work during the Bible study time that day.
