Notices for January 8, 2023

HANDS OF GRACE is in need of shampoo, conditioner, apple juice, 15oz. cans of spaghettios, beefaroni, spaghettios with meatballs, spaghettios with franks, winter hats, mittens, and gloves, especially for men. Thank you.

VOTERS ASSEMBLY MEETING, Sunday, January 15^th, 12Noon, in the lower fellowship room.  Light lunch will be served.  Snow date is Sunday, January 22^nd.  All welcome. 

DAUGHTERS OF FAITH WILL NOT meet today.  The next meeting will be Sunday, January 29^th, at the home of Ken and Judy Byrne, 30 Country Lane, Collinsville, from 2:00-3:30pm.

WINDOWS OF JOY Singles Women’s Group will meet at Linda Pekrul’s home Saturday, January 14th at 2:00 pm (snow date January 21st).   After Devotion, the group will enjoy board games together!  Feel free to bring your own board games as well.  Also, please let Linda know if you will be able to attend.

MISSIONS UPDATE: 

 All of our Operation Christmas Child Gospel Opportunity Gifts (Shoeboxes) have been processed.  The destinations are Honduras, Columbia and South Africa!  Please keep the missionaries delivering the boxes and the children in your prayers!  If you registered your individual shoebox, you can find the destination through the Samaritan’s Purse website, then use the search for Follow My Box and enter your email address.  It’s not too early to start shopping for your 2023 box!  Keep watch for the clearance sales.  If you buy extra, we can use the items in our church packed boxes!  A full Mission Board update will be presented at the upcoming Voters Assembly in January.

SHOWER OF CARDS!  Dorothea Warner is celebrating her 92^nd birthday today.  If you would like to send her a card, her address is 47 Warner Rd., Barkhamsted, CT  06063.  Thank you.

2022 YEAR END COUNCIL REPORTS are on the table in the narthex.

PASTOR MANDILE will be out of town from Tuesday, January 17^th until Friday, January 20^th.   Wednesday Service January 18^th is cancelled and will resume January 25^th.
