From Pastor Mandile…

LCMS STEWARDSHIP MINISTRY Luke 18:35 – “As he drew near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging.” The last known words of Martin Luther were found scratched on a slip of paper next to his death bed: “We are all beggars; this is true.” All that we have is a gift of God. We are all beggars before Him. Knowing this leaves us with nothing but thankfulness in our hearts.

INDIVIDUAL CUPS FOR THE LORD’S SUPPER…This Sunday, February 19th, you will notice a new setup for the Lord’s Supper. The individual cups will no longer be on the table on your way up to the altar. Instead, the individual cups will be distributed to you by one of the elders once you have come up and knelt at the altar rail. This change is for two reasons. First, we want to be hospitable to our guests who do not know our Communion practice. Second, we want to serve those who have difficulty walking by bringing Christ’s Blood to them when they are already at the altar rail. Pastor and the Board of Elders have prayed and discussed this change together. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to Pastor Mandile or one of the Elders.
