WOMEN OF THE WORD will be meeting this Tuesday, February 14th from 1:00 -2:30pm to select our next book for our Bible study. Please bring a book or books for us to consider as the new book for our study.

DAUGHTERS OF FAITH will be meeting on Sunday, February 26th from 2:00 – 3:30pm at the home of Ken and Judy Byrne. We will be studying the Samaritan Woman – Finding the Water of Life. Please let Judy know if you will be coming or not. Thank you.

FESTIVAL CHOIR will begin practicing for holy Week and the Easter season on Sunday, February 19^th.  Practice will be held from 9:20 – 9:40am.  Please join us!  See Ruth Yeadon for more information.

LCMS STEWARDSHIP MINISTRY Luke 8:11 – “The seed is the word of God.” It all starts with the Word. “In the beginning … the Word was with God” (John 1:1). “He saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5). “The word of our God will stand forever” (Is. 40:8). We never outgrow our need to hear the Word of God. We never achieve such greatness that we don’t need the blessings of God’s Word. Rather, the Christian life is one of always striving to conform our lives to God’s Word by living out the truth of our Baptism: that we are God’s children by the power of his Word.

INDIVIDUAL CUPS FOR THE LORD’S SUPPER…Beginning next Sunday, February 19^th, you will notice a new setup for the Lord’s Supper. The individual cups will no longer be on the table on your way up to the altar. Instead, the individual cups will be distributed to you by one of the elders once you have come up and knelt at the altar rail. This change is for two reasons. First, we want to be hospitable to our guests who do not know our Communion practice. Second, we want to serve those who have difficulty walking by bringing Christ’s Blood to them when they are already at the altar rail. Pastor and the Board of Elders have prayed and discussed this change together. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to Pastor Mandile or one of the Elders.
