ANNUAL VOTERS’ ASSEMBLY…. Voters’ Assembly will be held at TODAY at10:30am in the Lower Fellowship Room. Coffee and refreshments will be provided by the Council following the worship service.

JEOPARDY TOURNAMENT!! – Announcing the return of the extremely popular, award winning, St. Paul’s Annual Jeopardy Tournament. This has always been a wonderful time of joyful fellowship for the whole congregation. Hosted by our Pastors; children and adults alike will be the participants. The youth, parents, and teachers will compete against the general population of the church.  As in years past, this event will take place during the Sunday morning Bible Study/Sunday School hour.  This year will include a “decorate your own cupcake” activity before the competition begins.

St. Paul’s Hospitality Meal Ministry….Our Hospitality Team is here to help when you are in need, whether it is a long-term Illness, a hospitalized loved one, post-op homecoming, or the passing of a loved one.  Let Pastor Mandile or Bev Schott, our Hospitality Leader, know of your need for meals, and a member of the Hospitality Team will reach out to you for details. OUR LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY, Women of the Word, will meet on Tuesday afternoon, January 16th, 1:00-2:30pm. We will meet at Ken and Judy’s home in Collinsville. Our book is Twelve Unlikely Heroes of the Bible, and our hero this month is Jonah. Family and friends are always welcome, so reach out and invite someone new. Contact Judy for questions or to order a book.

2024 OFFERING ENVELOPES are on the table in the narthex.

EMPATHY IS SOMETHING WE ALL NEED—and it’s something we all can give.  A new book from Stephen Ministries (The Gift of Empathy: Helping Others Feel Valued, Cared for, and Understood) lays out principles and practices that empower you to better understand, connect with, and care for family, friends, coworkers, and others you may relate to.  Are you interested in being part of a group study of this book, starting in January? The Ladies Aid Christmas Fair will still be set up downstairs in the lower fellowship room. Please come downstairs to look through what they have and for fellowship together in celebration of the beginning of a new church year.

HANDS OF GRACE would like to thank everyone for your generous donations toward providing 50 families with a Thanksgiving meal.  God’s blessings to all for your continued support of our mission to share the Gospel message and provide food, clothing and household items to those in need.

REMINDER: Christmas Fair is Saturday, December 2nd.  Ladies Aid would graciously appreciate any of the following:

~4 dozen cookies: please indicate name of cookie and   if it contains nuts, artificial sweeteners, gluten/dairy free, etc..         

~Baked goods: pies, jams, jellies, candy, cake, quick breads, securely wrapped.

~Knitted/sewn items. Handmade crafts.

~Christmas crafts and ornaments.

PLEASE PRICE YOUR ITEMS!!

FAIR SET UP is Friday, December 1st, after 10:00am, goods may be brought in then.  Also, please feel free to bring in your arts and crafts for the Fair this week during the morning.

WOMEN OF THE WORD will be meeting at the church on Tuesday, November 14th from 1:00 – 2:30pm. We will be discussing our Unlikely Hero, Jonah. Friends and family are always welcome. Please RSVP Judy.

HANDS OF GRACE is making plans for our Thanksgiving food collection.  We will be giving 24 Turkey dinners. The turkeys are being provided by Foodshare. The following items are needed to complete the meal:

Cranberry sauce, 15 oz cans

French style green beans 15 oz cans

Cream of mushroom soup, @10 oz cans

French fried onions

Stuffing

FESTIVAL CHOIR is practicing for Thanksgiving Eve and Christmas Eve services. We meet directly following the service for 10-15 minutes.  Open to singers of all ages and abilities.  Please join us!  See Ruth Yeadon for more information.
