LEARN HOW TO SUPPORT YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY AND NEIGHBORS:

The Farmington Valley Health District will be offering an eight-hour Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course here at St Paul’s over two evenings in September (the 12th and 19th, 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM).  MHFA teaches you how to identify understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults and youth. You’ll build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to those who are struggling. You’ll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.  The Health District is offering this program at no cost to participants. Maximum number of seats is 30, with priority given to members and friends of St Paul’s.  If you’d like to attend, or if you have any questions, contact Fred Schott wfredschott@gmail.com).

MITE BOXES:  please bring in your Mites and leave them in the box in the narthex.

Thank you, Sally
